A series of recent low-level winter overflights of the area revealed no sign of the springs. At last report they were apparently cooling and decreasing in volume; it’s possible that they’ve cooled enough to match the ambient ground water temperature

If you’re passing through Telegraph Creek, one of the jumping-off points for access to Mount Edziza Provincial Park and several hot springs on the north flanks, be sure to visit the Riversong lodge & cafe, which was originally constructed as a Hudson Bay trading post.
